Variety Star Playground at Riverview Park

Variety believes that playgrounds should be thrilling for children of all abilities! All funds raised will help to build Des Moines' second inclusive playground in Riverview Park. This 14,500 square foot playground will pay homage to the Riverview Amusement Park.

Some of the inclusive amenities include:

  • Rubberized safety surface and ramps throughout so kids with mobility disabilities can get to all features
  • Large flat swings that allow kids with sensory disorders to lay across them
  • Two zip lines including one with a bucket seat and harness
